Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:

I began with comic art and blend it with traditional techniques found in classical art such as the works of Caravaggio. Chiaroscuro is my preferred method, utilizing light and shade for dramatic effect.

My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I've always believed in God but didn't really understand who Christ was until 11. I was taught to seek God diligently through His word and as I've grown both spiritually and artistically, I've merged the two more and more. The greatest expression of art and its highest calling is to edify the Body of Christ and lift up God...the original Artist.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

I would love to work in illustration. Although comic books have contributed vastly to the way I draw today, I'm honestly not sure if comic art is for me as a career. I do enjoy rendering well-loved stories from the scriptures giving life and emotion to the characters thousands know and love so well the world over.

Favorite Comic Creators:

I follow the art of Olivier Coipel, Carlos Pacheco, Jim Lee, Adam Hughes, Arthur Adams, Simone Bianchi, Neal Adams, Stuart Immonen, Jerome Opena. Also, Caravaggio and Leonardo DaVinci and other Renaissance greats.
