My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

Even though I was raised in a Catholic home, I did not feel comfortable in my own faith until I was a married Christian adult, making my own decisions without any outside influences. Having been blessed with a second chance at a normal life after successful brain surgery at age 26, I realized I needed to get my priorities straightened out - my faith in God and our Saviour, Jesus Christ, needed to be first and foremost. I no longer desired to become a famous, rich cartoonist ...like Charles Schulz and Johnny Hart (even though they did share their faith a lot in Peanuts and B.C., respectively). I wanted to use my God-given talent to help spread the Good News of the New Testament as instructed to do in the Great Commission, like my artistic role model, Jack Chick  (the original artist for Chick cartoon tracts).

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

Penciller or concept artist for a Christian company, full-time cartoon tract maker

Favorite Comic Creators:

Jack Chick, Fred Carter, Dan Lietha, Ron Wheeler, Charles Schulz, Johnny Hart, Don Martin, Jack Davis, Mort Drucker
