Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic, (Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)
To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

Are you kidding? You have great stuff! =)
Wow, love you style! =)
I'd buy two :)
It's encouraging to hear about your journey. I've been working on my comics for about 8 years and have gone through some ups and downs with publishing and stuff. I have a publisher now and I pray everything goes well. I plan to buy your comic soon once my finances are better. God bless!
I have been a struggling Christian artist/ writer trying to get published and, now I have begun to realize that goal. My first graphic novel (a novel in comic book/illustrated form) is designed for children and anyone else who has an unlimited imagination. I hope to do glory to God and pray I do not fail him.
It is entitled, "The Improbable Barnsy: A Pocket Full of Teeth" and is Christian themed with a whirl wind adventure about love, redemption, forgiveness, and doing the right thing. The style is cartoonish/fantasy, but touches upon real struggles and triumphs that children and adults face all the time. The hero of the story, Barnsy T. Boxcar, is a 4 foot tall pelican who lives in a world of unlimited possiblities.
Created, written, lettered, drawn, and colored by me, Kurt Lewis, and published by Living Word Publications (LWP). Below is the link to where it can be bought as a hardcopy and as a download. It is being published and sold through by lulu.com. I wanted to share this news with everybody, because it was an eight year journey to get here and it was worth it. Many of you had offered encouragement and advice, and for that I thank you. If you would like to see sample pages, they be found on the lulu site.
Don't worry, I won't keep bugging folks, just ask that people pass on the fantastic news. I PUBLISHED MY BOOK, AND I HOPE PEOPLE BUY IT AND ENJOY IT.
Always,
Kurt Lewis

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
