My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I was raised in a Methodist church that did not know Christ. I left that community for university and left God at arm's length. I tried everything just shy of hard drugs and sampled nearly every religion and belief system available before I crashed. I returned home and was baptized April 1st, 2001 and was named a Youth Pastor by May 2001. I was on fire for Christ for a while, but made poor choices and crashed more permanently this time. It is said a prophet will never be accepted in their home town. The same could be said for reputation and rebirth as well. In the midst of losing everything but my parents and siblings, I cried out to God. "You win. Take it all, or kill me.", I said. It was in the middle of a severe thunderstorm that I said this as I grieved for my losses, on my knees, in the middle of a large lawn in the middle of nowhere. I was broken. I had nothing. Even my dog had run off. Still, God had plans. He restored me. He raised me up. He gave me purpose. He gave me family and friends. I left that place with my new bride a few short years later. We are not perfect. My faith is not without doubts or low points, but it does not stray and it does not falter. I know, no matter what, that God is in control - and it is through Him that I have strength to carry on. My life is to serve Him, even if I sometimes get distracted for a moment.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

I used to dream of being a penciller or sequential artist, but that's not really for me. I can do it, but what I love more than anything is creating content. Story - from top to bottom, that's what drives me.

Favorite Comic Creators:

Where to begin? I love most all legacy characters from DC and most of the X-men and Avengers types from Marvel. I have not really read many mainstream comics since around 2004 though. Most of my interest these days lies in nostalgia or Indy works.
