  • Randy,

Thanks for the comment and crits on Poseidon, well, the outline was lightened to a point there was none for the black that was there originally, however, when I put in the darker blue and outlined it with that, I wanted the mech ( in the position I had as a ref.) to stand out against the waves, though the sketching was ONLY the mech and nothing more, the rest was created digitally in PS. and this was my VERY first time drawing a mech ( mechanical pieces are not my usual forte') again, thanks for the crits, I do appreciate them. The Idea was that the Mech was standing in the water ( this guy is about 6 stories tall) and the waves are splashing against it's legs and up ( if you are familiar with Mechwarrior, you will understand why the Poseidon has 3 legs and is a TALL one, lol) but that was also after I had implimented the sketch onto the canvas. Hope that makes some sense as to what I was trying for, lol, but live and learn and you are helping, in which I am grateful ( trust me, I AM lol :D)
  • Hey, care to take a gander at my newest picture upload? I tried some tips you were talking about, perhaps this is better, though it's a mural like work, not a comic.
  • Hey Randy! Just saw that you were in this group. Thought I'd say Howdy! God bless, Tom
  • Thanks for helping out my partner with the drawing tips. Hope you enjoy the Overcomers project in the making. God Bless!
  • Thanks Randy! Keep crankin' out the good stuff!
  • I'll have to do a step by step. Don't have any now. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the Tips, yea I didn't attend Ai Dallas cause I knew my Mom couldn't handle financially the 600/mo payments and seeing as the cost per semester is around 7 thousand per sem. I didn't want to do that to my parents, and I am just learning on my own with trial and error, glad to see that you got the opp. to work in the big leagues, thanks again for the tips and I will be sure to put that into perspective next time I begin singles. Most of my work is on DA only a few are on here.

  • Well, I'm here now Randy. Thanks for the suggestion, this is a pretty cool site!
  • Checked out your website. It is excellent. As you already know there are several Christian animators on the CCAS site. Have you ever worked in comics?
