  • Ok. here are some links to videos by Stephen Silver

WARNING//Disclaimer.  Stephen Silver is an artist who has been in the Animation industry for sometime.  I'm only putting the disclaimer up, because he does use some salty language from time to time, which may not be OK with everyone here.  Or if you check any of his other videos. Which you will.  For most of his videos have very good advice.

I have given similar advice to other Pro's and students alike.  Sometimes that advice has fallen on deaf ears.  I'm posting them, since I don't have a youTube channel.  Like I said, very good sound advice. I have only spoken to Stephen a couple times, but he seems very genuine.  He speaks from a place of experience, that only helps those who are willing to listen.  You in the end will be the person who decides and determines if you can apply IT to yourself.

I would like tips and mentor help on this subject. My present organization is: (Manga Studio)1.  draw a reference in a digital drawing tool.  2.  add a layer and blue the layer I just worked on.3.  do it over and over4.  when I'm getting nowhere, add large grids5.  do 1,2,3 with grids6.  ruler the whole work(very recent... just started doing this - it's making a library of the lines in Manga Studio)7.  be confused with options now that I have a new file with the lines and too many optionsMy…

Book Tours and Comicons

Dear friends,I recently had a graphic novel published and I am beginning to line up a book tour which includes signings, discussions and classes using the book. Have any of you done a book tour? If so, how did you go about lining up the schedule? what was helpful, what was not? Did you have better success at book stores or comicons? Is there anything you would recommend doing?PeaceEarnest Graham
