Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:

I love art, obviously. John Singer Sargent, Winslow Homer, Arthur Rackham, Edmund Dulac, Drew Struzen, and Carl Larsson being some of my faves. I love music. Everything except hip-hop and opera. I love nature: birdwatching, tree identifying, and woods walking. I love reading, films, coffee, apologetics, coffee, chess, coffee, food, coffee. ...Uhmm, did I say coffee?

My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I accepted the Lord in '89, I think. (I'm horrible at dates.) In a nutshell, I was afraid to die, and my own impending mortality was staring me dead in the face. (No pun intended.) A friend led me to the Lord on the phone, and my life has never been the same.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

Doing my own stuff. No editors. No publishers. Just straight from my head. (No offense to editors and publishers.) Then have people give me money for it. (Hey, mortgages don't pay themselves!)

Favorite Comic Creators:

Wow... let's see, Gil Kane, John Byrne, Neil Adams, John Buscema, and John Romita were huge influences on me in my youth... and still somewhere in the back of my mind.
