My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

Grew up in a Christian home, but just sort of cruised by in my faith. I went to art school, but then got a job in the web industry so put my comic creating dreams aside. A few months ago I started getting the itch to create again. I got a new sketchbook and blue pencils and started sketching, and as always started working on a story idea. I had no intention of doing a Christian based comic, but as I started to work on a story My faith worked its way into the story. And without giving anything away about the story, some elements in the story I compared to my own life and realized...Wow I am really slacking in my walk with Jesus. And now hand in hand my drive to get back into creating a comic has awoken a hunger for God's word like never before. I plan on starting a Web comic with Christian themes VERY soon and pray that God uses the story to his glory. Wherever he wants the story to go is OK with me. I pray that as I grow in the Word, and in Christ's Love and Wisdom, it will show in my story and hopefully impact others. I pray that any work I do will be a ministry for Christ, and point in some way to the gospel. I wanted to see what else Christians were doing comic related so a simple google search brought me to this site. I promptly signed up hoping to be influenced by others. There is strength in numbers.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

I want to be an independent creator. Write my own stories and do my own art. I wouldn't be opposed to collaborating, I just have no interest in making comics unless its exactly what I want to be making.
