Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:

I try to look at a darker side of comic art that has a deeper meaning than spandex superheroes.

My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I grew up in a somewhat Christian family. Me and my family moved from church to church for about 3 years. My dad was a dedicated alcoholic and radio fanatic. It seemed I was mostly taught by my mom. And yes, I don't take any shame in being a mama's boy. I loved drawing from the day I was able to hold a pencil and loved to tell stories. I got saved when I was 10 years old. But in middle school I tried to fit in with the "cool" crowd. I soon lost my faith and had absolutely no idea what to believe. In the 7th grade, I went to a camp with my church and set my life right with God. Later in the seventh grade I started reading comics. The first artist I could identify with was Todd Mcfarlane, this made me want to draw.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

I would like to be a penciller and inker for a certain company.

Favorite Comic Creators:

Todd Mcfarlane, Tony Moore, Sam Kieth, Frank Miller, Ryan Ottley, Jack (the king) Kirby, Rob Liefeld.
