  • Hey,
I just finished The Vailant Artist! It was cool! One of my favorite books as a kid was Seven with one blow. So it was cool to see you
play with that in your comic!
  • Your work remins me of the classic image comics. Great work. Lokking forward to the comic.
  • Thanks bud. I think I am just my own worst enemy when it comes to my art. I will post more tomorrow. If you are on facebook, all of it is on there. Even some of my digital stuff is on there. Just look me up. God bless!
  • Nowhere yet. We are putting together the submission book this week. Most companies such as Image want six pages, full blown, and a synopsis of the story. That should be printed by next week. But if you like I can send you a copy of the submission book when its together. I still have 17 pages to go to complete the first issue. I was looking at it and I just might start all over. It doesn't look good enough for me. I know I can do better. I don't know though, the colorist has cost us a couple hundred so far, and I'd hate to just throw that away, y'know? But I don't want it to be inconsistent either, with issue two looking totally different y'know?
  • O- i put it so that only my friends can view it- didn't realise we didn't add each other. also, dunno why but I can't get that pdf to work now either, I could send it to you or post it somewhere
  • Hey Matt, I just ordered a copy of your comic. I can't wait to read it.
  • hey, you're on here today too! I just posted those Darkness sketches here. I'll have to find your pic in your gallery. http://christiancomicart.ning.com/photo/albums/this-present-darknes...

I did a search after you said every man and his dog wants that gig and I found this- which is interesting- so I wrote the guy and asked him to join this group!

  • Thanks for your comment, Matt. Your art is great itself!
  • thanks so much for asking! I've had some hassles changing web servers for my websites atm. and Iv been bit busy for web authoring so I need to get onto doing my folio. Do you have to send them hardcopy stuff? or is webstuff ok? I'll have to post some of those ideas about Frank Peretti- it's good they've started to make a couple of his stories into movies at least!
  • Matt--Your praise is well taken, brother!
I get inspired by your work just as well and that is the beauty of the body of Christ at work! He's our source and the reason for everything to make sense! As we lift Him up more people will join us in this harmony of purpose and inner drive to do what we do!
Can't wait to see what it will be like in our New Earth, where we'll all live eternally and fully be our maximum selves forever and ever and ever with our Savior Jesus Christ, Our God, our brothers and sisters in Christ!

In the meantime , our Journey here remains and it doesn't go without the challenges of the day. As we go on doing our thing on this earth, there is a spiritual warfare going on in the air, to distract us, to discourage us and to stop us from doing good in this world.
Your comment came in a week that I needed to hear your encouraging words. We are studying about the enemy in our Church, using C.S.Lewis book, the Screwtape letters. I read your comment this morning, as I was just ready to prepare the Songs for our Worship time this coming Sunday...so I felt like writing all this.

Continue to Be a blessing to others this week, Matt, and keep up the Excellent work!!!

Below is a link where I found the New Picture Bible I'm working on ready for pre-order. I thought they would have it in stock by now but I'm sure it will be in stores soon ( The New Testament, that is. The Complete Bible, Old and New should be available in 2010, Lord willing.)

    Blessings, Bro.
