Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic, (Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)
To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

Hey, Billy heard its your birthday so I dropped by to wish you well!
Happy Birthday! God bless!
Hello Billy! Did you have a chance to read Bluejaye # 1? I gave you a copy to review at the Baltimore Comic-Con. What did you think? Loved your "A Child Is Born" comic, BTW! Exceptional artwork!
thanks Billy. i sent you a message on your facebook hoping you'll get it on time.
Hi Billy! It was great to meet you in person in Phoenix yesterday! I really love your A CHILD IS BORN--I hope you liked my THE CHRIST OF PROPHECY! I look forward to seeing the other Gospel-based works you're planning. God bless.
Billy
Saw you at Phoenix Comic Con this weekend. Wished I could have had time to pick up 'A Child is Born'. I did get to take a peek at it. Lovely artwork in it Billy good Job!
Dear Billy,
I just picked up "A Child is Born: Artist's Edition" and I just had to tell you--fantastic work! It's thoughtful, compelling, and just beautifully drawn! One of the best I've seen!
I didn't even know about this project and came across the Artist's Edition in my regular comic shop--what a great surprise! Well done, Sir!

Hello Mr. Tucci,
My name is Ryan Negus and recently you accepted my request to be listed on my friend list (I also made you laugh with the "Are you the same Billy Tucci that created SHI etc."). First off let me just say thank you for accepting my request. I'm very grateful to not only be able to make contact with other fellow cartooinsts, but also to make contact with fellow christians.
I read your bio on your website apostlearts.com. I was very pleased to see that you remain strong in your faith and loyalty to Jesus Christ. I also applaud you for working within the mainstream as well as the independant comic book business. I say that because we need witnesses in the mainstream area. So many christians would prefer to involve themselves in areas where there is less turmoil, but the fact is the good news of Christ must be shared with everyone and not just the ones that are more "likable".
And who am I? I'm a thirty-five year old cartoonist who lives in Abilene, Kansas (Hometown of the late former United States President Eisenhower). So far I've self-published two comic books and distributed them locally in Abilene and in a nearby town as well. I've just finished my third comic book and plan on printing it tomorrow. Although I had my first issue printed at a print shop my second issue was printed on a friends photocopy machine. In fact money has been so tight for me that I was forced to staple the copies of my comic book together with an ordinary stapler (not the kind with three staples). When it comes to self publishing I am defanitly in the "poor man's" catagory.
Recently, I was offered the opportunity to write and draw a action/adventure comic strip for a local online newspaper. I happily accepted and the strip should be premiering sometime this April. I've always wanted to do an adventure comic strip for a newspaper because let's face it, adventure strips in newspapers are rare these days. Humor now reigns supreme. I love the humor strips, but I miss strips like the Phantom, Flash Gordon, and Mandrake the Magician.
I realize my accomplishments in the world of comics is meager compared to the accomplishments of many professionals, but I'm very proud of what I've done. Jesus has taught me that I can be content just doing the best I can do.
Take care Mr. Tucci. Hope to hear from you in the future.
Sincerely,
Ryan Negus
