My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I grew up in the Church and have been a Christian since I was 11yrs old or so. As a child, following God just seemed to make since to my kid brain. If there is a being who created EVERYTHING (God), and if that being actually loves what he created (Us), and if something bad entered into the lives of his creation (Sin), and if that creator sacrificed himself to fix the bad thing thats that happen (Jesus), and if he left a roadmap for his creation to learn about what he did and how we can reconnect with him even though bad things have happened (The Bible), and if that process keeps us from a really bad place after we die (Hell), then why wouldn't I choose to follow this God? More than 35yrs later, that relatively simply equation still holds, but navigating the complexity and brokenness around each of those 'Ifs' has been a true journey. It's that complexity and brokenness, mixed with God's faithfulness through it all that drives the stories I create with Group Lore. Particularly, our flagship title The Way (of Yahweh), which is a sprawling saga that ultimately is about how God can use a broken past to build a new future.
