I have been working as a freelance comic book artist since 2006 .
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
The person I was before Christ came in was not good. I was fulling engulfed in the chains of depression and would hear voices in my head telling me everything that was wrong with me 24/7. Society would call "Negative self talk" the only thing is no matter what method I used to get rid of the talking it never stopped for long. I was a mess and out of control hoping from thing to thing trying to find happiness but nothing ever fulfilled me. (Food, shopping, dating, etc etc)(in unhealthy ways) When I started dating my husband again (August 2011) I had just started recovery from a car accident that had almost killed me. (broken neck, concussion, facial fractures etc)(God has healed all of those) So again I felt like a giant mess trying to date him (who is a strong christian). I started asking him questions about God. (I had spend nights and days after my accident thinking about my life and what a mess it was) Four months later I thought I'd be witty and buy a bible because I was a "Christian". Or considered myself one because I had now been to church a few times. With in a few weeks of trying to read the bible which actually made the depression and voices louder. I asked my husband if it could possibly be the anti depressants that were some how "Blocking" me from hearing from God. He said it was possible. On christmas day in tears and desperation I told God "If you are real you will heal me from depression and I will never take another pill". I then threw the pills down the toilet. I was then saved in February 2012 after God revealed himself to me and I saw the pit of fire I was in. Since then the voices have disappeared and depression is gone.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
To make manga/comics that move people and that spread the message of christ in allegory form.

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic, (Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)
To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Welcome to the CCAS. I must agree with Eric that your illustration of the woman in armor is excellent. The CCAS has had a booth at the Phoenix Comic Con for the past 3 years and Lord willing, we'll be there in 2013. May the God of our Savior, Jesus Christ, richly bless you and the works of your hands.
