My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I had a steady full time job, was going to school part time and merely dreaming of what I would do when I finished with my degree (which will be a while since I'm only able to take two classes a semester). The application of my art skills being able to support me financially seemed to be a distant dream no more real than a fantasy encounter with your favorite celebrity. Slowly my job became more stressful and I became more and more restless. I was unhappy, uncertain and itching for a drastic change, but past experiences and past mistakes made me hesitant to jump without God's leading. I spent several months in prayer until it came down to the wire, I prayed for a sign to ensure that what was rolling in my mind was for certain God's intended path. Literally over night my anxiety dissolved, I was confident in my decision and at peace with uncertainty it would cause. I gave my boss my 3 weeks notice, trained a replacement and said good bye to my safe secure, full time income. I can't say that things have been easy, in fact they've been quite the opposite. Everyday is full of worries, doubts and fears that I have to lay at His feet in faith. I do not now, nor will I ever regret my insane decision. I know some may never understand my "God told me to quite my job" story, but I know it's been His will and I lean on His promise to guide and protect me. I can only hope that He has a mighty plan for my feeble attempts and pray that He will be glorified threw what I do next.


Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

I would love to one day write and draw the comic books that God has placed on my heart and mind.
