JCServant replied to Ben Avery's discussion WebComics.CC

"I'm sure you already know about our great titles at Cyberlight :) SOooOo... I won't waste your time on that."

JCServant replied to Rob Marsh's discussion A group here for Webcomic publishers?

"The beauty of Cyberlight Comics is we are not seeking exclusitivity. We encourage artists to put up their comics on as many sites as possible, like a light on many hills. So, if you would get X number of hits for your comic on your site, chances are…"

JCServant replied to Rob Marsh's discussion A group here for Webcomic publishers?

"Our requirement for comics are simple: That they be clearly designed to lead people closer to God. Check out our website and you'll find an interesting variety of comics. Some seem to hit you over the head with scripture, while others teach a lesson…"

JCServant replied to Casey's discussion Something to consiter about darkness

"Well, there certainly is something to be said about light and darkness. How would we know how strong our God is, if He did not save us from the darkest of sins? I don't believe you have to have one for the other to exist. But, I believe that because…"

JCServant replied to UnchartedSpirit's discussion Where's my work or any other ethic?

"That's deep :) Lately, God has been working on my heart to remind me what's really important in life.... leading others close to Him. And, that we have each been designed by Him, with special talents and gifts, to do just that in our own, individual…"

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic, (Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."

That's the plan sir... gotta make the reservation and acquire the tables... but that is indeed the plan... FX Show first and then MegaCon... got a number of smaller shows before that though. Tampa in November as well as Orlando and then down in Plantation or something along those lines.

Trying to get my bearings these days... clear my plate and then prepare for the upcoming year... yeah baby!! LOL

Awesome, but I sent you an email and it explains that I have no phone, lol, at least not right now, got an 800 number I can call? I can get to a local payphone and use it, as I did with Howard, my tracFone only has 1 unit on it and I can't get anymore till two weeks right now. just to let you know :D
JCServant September 13, 2007 at 6:03pm

Usually, people just give me their phone number and I call. I have unlimited long distance. As for publication, we publish the entire site each year on CD-ROM.
Christina Cheek September 13, 2007 at 2:17pm

oh ok, I see, I was kinda confused at first, thanks for clearing it all up tho, lol. Unless you have a 800 number to call you at, unfortunately, just as Howard knows, I can't call, no phone, no cell, just a tracFone with 1 unit on it and no calling cards, lol, sorry >< I can shoot an email your way tho. Glad to know it's hands on and further in development, is there a chance for publication?
