  • Hi! Thanks! BTW, I didn't used manga studio.. I draw and ink my comics on paper and pen. Without the screentone and backgrounds. I scan my drawings and put them on Adobe PhotoShop. That's where  I add screentones, shadings and backgrounds. You can also download free screentones in the net, but you can also use gray colored brushes for shading. :) It also depends on your style by the way. I'm doing manga or japanese style comics which really uses screentones.

For backgrounds, I'm still learning this, I try to check out some perspective and other background that would help me for my panels. But surely, I did this only in Adobe Photoshop.
    Thanks friend! :)

  • Thanks for the welcome, and i am happy to colour for everyone :)

  • Thanks for your patience, coming soon!
  • Yes, yhough it's the old version of the oc, we are redoing the series as there's an upcoming movie & slight story change.
  • Hey DL - got your note. Happy to connect at SDCC this week or via phone the following week if you aren't in San Diego for the con. :) Call the office and slot a call for us together through Becky Berg at 949 429 1000

  • Hi D.L.! Just wanted to say 'Hello' and pray that God might bless your upcoming webcomic. Thanks for calling us to prayer for the CCAS at San Diego Con, they will need it. I always hear how spiritually challenging those shows are.

  • Cool! Thanks! I should try that some time! :D

  • You have great talent, and I can see on the boards, also a genuine heart for your fellow Christians. I love your art, and I truly believe God will bless your work on the inspirations He has gifted you with because of your devotion and desire to Glorify Him:)

  • Ha! Took me a bit to remember HOW to comment back! I do have google...but I don't turn the chat on (long story--I'll tell you sometime). I'm at brolandmann@gmail.com

Would LOVE a Christian Comic Convention. The folks at Gideon are willing to work with the idea, too...but they just don't know anything about them and it isn't something I can do. I can HELP, but I can't do it.

  • I haven't tried using Freehand software. It is good for both sketching and coloring?
