  • Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

  • Am I crazy, or are you in Israel in that picture?
  • I used to be an avid WoW player myself. Plaid up until right after the expansion. Then I got married and wanted to make sure my wife and her kids didnt suffer for my addiction. I had heard way too many horror stories. The card game basically allows you to build both human and angel warriors to do battle against hell and all his cohorts. Our goal, first, is to make a game where the bad side cannot be played. Second, to make it competitive, but not merciless. Finally we want a game where if a Christian wanted to play, they wouldnt have to worry about the moral side of playing. (ie: They are not a witch, warlock, mage, etc) Right now we are trying to get artists to contribute original weapons, helmets, shields, and armor. We are taking things that artists may have for a personal character as well. For example if the owner of Thundercats came to me, (which I would be geeked out by) and asked me to use the sword of omens, we would use it, keep the name and tie it to the creators character. Though the stats would be up to us in order to apply it to the game. Mainly though, we are just looking to fill up the art barrel right now. There will be an artist card in the deck and the artist will be given credit on each card they do.
  • Welcome to the CCAS Christina. It is good to have you with us. After so many years of seeing you once a year in San Diego, you now have the opportunity to connect with a like minded community on a regular basis. You should definitely post more of your work. You should also try to make the monthly meetings of the CCAS in the Southern California area. If you want to find out more about the Southren California meetings you can email on this site and I can give you more info. Now may the God of our Savior, Jesus Christ richly bless you, your family, and the works of your hands.

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
