I'm glad you liked my manga, you know I started doing mangas 4 years ago, then I made Jackket, which is actually my only American style comic. :-)

Hi Mike! Mononoke is somewhat darker than the other films (the latest one, Howl's Moving Castle, is also quite dark). I think some parts may be scary for small children, but it's still a great piece of work. Definitely more serious than Totoro or Kiki.

miyazaki is phenomenal. great storyteller and artist. i've got the whole set of his films from nausicaa to howl's moving castle.
