  • I put up some of my work, you'll have to drop by and check it out.
  • I've got a pic of my character up. Check it out...I'll try an' get shots of the first ish up when I get back from Fall Break.
  • Reggie, yes, I was a co-creator for C&M. Mitch had done some drawings and a little 4 page sequence of them in action. Said he had in mind for them being theives...We talked for a little while, then I took the concepts and ran with them. Mitch is an incredibly talented visual storyteller. Funny though--he hates superheroes!
  • Tell Me about it. Indie titles are where all the energy is at these days. As for Stephen King, i love all the movies that are based on his stories, but i havn't actually read any of his books. I read the Dark Tower comics but those are just adaptations. I have him on the "fav authors" list because i love him as an idea man. But i am gonna make it a point to read his Dark tower series.
  • God Bless, Roland! Iremember CAT & MOUSE! Did you create that?
  • Yes, that was it. I have a copy packed away somewhere. VERY good read, but very difficult to find. I'd be willing to say it was "rare," but I don't think it has any real monetary value for the collector types.
  • Roland -- I remember an Otto Binder-written Avengers
novel, BATTLE OF THE EARTH-WRECKER, I believe it was. Is that the one you're thinking of?
  • Well, I DO read comics, but they're all older. I've tried reading some Marvel and DC comics but they just don't appeal to me at all anymore.
I DO read some of the works produced by folks on THIS site! :)
And, I tend to read the classics, still.
In college, I was a fan of small press/independent comics as well. I still think many indies (those that are filled with profanity or soft-porn) are pretty good reads.
Reading your bio, we have a lot of common "fav authors." Of the ones you mentioned, though, I'm just not a Stephen King fan. Tried several of his works, just didn't do it for me. BUT, I do like most of the others mentioned!
Cool that you're going back to school, too! Way to go!
  • Great Bio. I think i actually may have read a couple of the books you edited. So, you don't read comics at all anymore?
