  • Hello Lisa, thank you so much for your warm welcome. I'm so happy to find a Gospel-inspired website designed specifically for those interested in the comic book world. And wow, just a glimpse of your work, I can tell that God has big plans for you regarding your talent. I pray that He guides you in all that you do, that you may give the readers the desire to know the Lord and live for Him through your works. God bless! -Amy.T
  • great work!
  • HI Lisa,

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm Scott A. Shuford, one of the new Board members. I wanted to stop in and say thanks for being involved with CCAS! If you have any input or would like to be involved with anything in particular, please let me and Eric Jansen (Membership Coordinator for CCAS) know by contacting us both through the site. We'll be making several announcements in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. To see a bit more about me, check out my profile here on the site. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.

    At Your Service,

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
  • Hi Lisa!

It's so nice meeting you. God bless you. -C
  • Hello Miss Snow! it's me, MangArtist! How have you been?
    Your newest pictures are awesome!
  • Thank you, Lisa! It profoundly touched my heart, too---which is why I sought and obtained permission to illustrate it. Reader response to the book has been fantastic, and orders are coming in from many different parts of the world---mostly, I perceive, from people who are not comics fans per se, but those who love the Lord with all their hearts (many reorders are coming in from them for unsaved friends and such like as well).
  • Hi Lisa! Isn't this a great community? I'm so excited. I've been a member of ComicSpace for some time, but it's largely a group of secular creators. It's great to be there and be a light, but it's even better to be here and have fellowship with so many like-minded folks! Hope all's going well for you.
  • Thanks for your thoughts! I've been really busy with commission work and producing an animation short as part of my course. Really want to get back to Wen's World stuff and my 2nd comic. Supposed to do a cartoon tract too but it's been shelved for a while...
  • Hi everyone! Wow, I haven't been here in ages. Favian, I've been wondering the exact same thing with you at the same time ^__^ I can't get enough of your work; just love everything about it. I've been doing freelance and working on my own projects, with much in the works, Lord willing. I'm thinking of getting rid of my cat Poe icon, since he looks half-dead in that photo! That's normally *not* how I look. I just get tired.....:)
  • Hi Lisa! Haven't heard from you in a while. How have you been?
