  • Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

  • Hi Josh!
Wow, I soo forgot to get back to you. :-/
Um, Jackket is nearly done only lost the printers I used last year so I need to find a new one soon, so please keep this in prayer. Jk #2 looks so much better than the last issue, I feel blessed. ^_^ Also this past month artwork I submitted to Diamond Previews a worldwide publication was featured at #5 in teh Fan section of it. It's really awesome to know that millions will see it, what an incredible blessing!
How's the new album coming along btw?
Have a great week, and God bless you guys!

  • Josh,

I was wondering about the powers for your armor. I was thinking a couple of things for the guitar as a weapon. First, I thought of a sword (of the Spirit) and shield (of Faith). Where the neck of the guitar was the sword and the base could be a shield. Then I thought of an axe, where the blades could be retractable from the base and the neck could be the handle. The last think I thought of was an old Roman weapon, not sure of the name but it has a buckler shield (the base) and connected to it was a long blade or spike (the neck). But there is always the traditional super sonic sound wave blast but I thought that was just a little obvious. Please let me know what you think and if you are thinking of some other kind of power for yourself let me know. All of that goes into the feel of the character and the custom design.

Go with God, or just don't go,

    Kevin
  • Joshua,
Man, I would love to see what you guys have in mind. Send you pics and suggestions to kevinryanwalker@aol.com. Be sure to include good head shots of everyone in the band, so I can get faces right. This will be so cool.
  • Hello Joshua. I do love the Armor of God. I am trying to put together a vacuum forming machine, similar to the one the 501 does for their Star Wars: Storm Trooper armor. I would love to get my design for the armor made and be able to wear it myself. I am also looking to make some Christian Super Hero costumes together from characters of my design. I hope to post those characters soon. If there is any art I can do for you just let me know.
  • Hey Joshua! You'll have to let us know when your CD comes out! ;) I see you're from Hutchinson.....XD
  • Hey Josh, checked the MySpace page out and loved the music...especially "Salvation". Maybe I could do some work for the band one day...and when my comic's done I can give it away at a Staynlis concert.
  • I've definitely given it thought. This year will be a time of transition for me, so I'm not sure what all is in store.
