My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
Basically I grew up in a Christian home, but right around the middle of my high school years I started to think, okay-- either God is real and I want a real relationship with him, or he's not and why am I wasting my time-- long story short, I seeked and I found, big time. Not only is he real, but he's alive and loving and all that he says he is!
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
That would either be a syndicated cartoonist, or a penciller.
Favorite Comic Creators:
Bendis, Romita Jr., Immonen, Finch, Millar, Liu, Kelly.

I am starting a home-based greeting cards business and seeking a cartoonist to illustrate the face of my cards. I am branding my cards with two main cartoon characters, namely a donkey and an ox. In Deut. 22:10 it tells us not to yoke a donkey and ox together for they are unequally yoked. My line of greeting cards are UNEQUALLY YOKED CARDS. The idea is the create humorous cards for people who are mismatched with their current mate. I write to inscriptions for the cards and the illustrator does the artwork with the donkey being the female and the ox the male.
If interested or curious contact me for more info. I will send you an inscription for a card or two and you create the illustration as a sample. This is a paid job or an opportunity for limited partnership.

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
