This is a transcript I made for a friend, but the message has impacted my relationship with God deeply.Beloved in Grace,SoubaYou can also watch it on youtube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZxn5NdSl10Hillsong Church Conference 07 Excerpt Transcript:Pastor Joseph Prince: But the moment you see Jesus on the cross being punished for your sins, all is peaceful inside. Somebody has paid for your sins. AmenThe reason there is now no condemnation to us who are in Christ, is not because God has gone soft on sin. It is precisely because God is Holy that there is no condemnation. What do you mean Pastor Prince? Because 2,000 years ago at the cross God punished and poured out His wrath and judgment and punishment on Jesus Christ for our sins!He was bearing your sins, my sins He had no sins of His own!He did no sin, in Him is no sin, He was punished for our sins, and there is a law in the courts called the law of double jeopardy the same crime cannot be tried twice. God cannot punish our sins in the body of Christ and then punish it in our lives. Hallelujah!Because God is Holy He cannot punish you, oh you’re not hearing me because God is Holy He will not and “cannot” punish you! And He designed it that way.God is not merciful in making you righteous God is righteous in making you righteous. His mercy sent His son, His love sent His son, but it is His righteousness that justifies you.At the cross Jesus cried “My God, My God why have you forsaken me?”You know that was the first time Jesus cried to His father “My God.” If you study the Gospels you’ll find He always called his father as father. That was the first time at the cross openly so that all of us will know that He became sin and lost that relationship on our behalf so that you and I can cry to God “My father, my father, Abba, Abba, my father! Halleluiah! He cried “Why have you forsaken me” out loud! So we would all know he was forsaken at the cross so that we can cry “father you will never leave me or forsake me” and sometime you feel like crying “father, why have you so blessed me.” It’s all paid for folks, 2,000 years ago. Halleluiah, Halleluiah.I feel like His love is just falling like rain in this place. People are becoming whole spirit, soul, and body, Halleluiah. There is therefore no condemnation, to those who are in Christ.God made Jesus on the cross to become sin, He who knew no sin became sin with your sins, so that you who know no righteous will become righteous, in Christ. But Pastor Prince how can you say that I am righteous, having done no right thing in my life, how can I become righteous apart from my performance, Pastor Prince?Well, you have to answer me first. How come Jesus became sin at the cross, apart from his performance? It does not take the Holy Spirit to understand law. Law says do good get good, do bad, get bad, and we still hear that kind of preaching today. Karma… My Name is Earl. No, that’s not Christianity, come one now. Christianity is we receive good that we don’t deserve, because Jesus received all the bad he did not deserve! And that takes the Holy Spirit to understand the Holy Spirit has not come to teach you the law, He has come to unveil grace. And our Lord Jesus said “The Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head,” but finally at the cross the Bible says he cried “It is finished!” What is finished? All the price, all that we need to justify us and to lead a victorious life. It’s all finished it’s all paid for, at the cross. And you know what He did? Listen and you know what he did right after that? The Bible says He bowed His head, and gave up the Spirit. That word Bowed is the same Greek word, that the son has nowhere to lay His head. Finally rested His head in loving you in redeeming you in blessing you in healing you. This is the grace of God, His grace is greater than all our sins. How many of you hear it said, you know Pastor Prince you cannot preach too much on grace it’ll cause license to sin in the church. Number one, people are sinning without license. The Bible says “the strength of sin is the law,” have you read that? “The strength of sin is the law” who do you think is the one that is, that is deceiving us putting a constancy around grace? Is the devil cause he knows the law is his weapon to knock you. Amen? The Bible says, and I’ll close with this. In 1 John 4:17 “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment.” How many want to have boldness in the day of judgment? Amen “That we may have boldness in the day of judgment” because as He is presence tense at the Father’s right hand crowned with glory and honor As He is so are we in this world! That’s how we have boldness in the day of judgment. Today God is not judging you, looking at you. God is assessing you judging you, looking at the perfect man as His right hand!In ancient Israel, everything rises and falls based on the High Priest. If the High Priest is good God receives the whole nation, if the High Priest is bad God rejects the whole nation! Folks I want you to know Jesus Christ lives as your high priest after the power of an endless life! Halleluiah! As He is so are we in this world! Stop asking the question “Am I accepted before God?” Ask instead “is Christ accepted before the Father?” Because as He is so are you in this world. The devil wants you to look at yourself he wants to turn your around and say look at this fault, look at this sin look at this, look at all your faults. Church, point the devil to Jesus and say “devil that’s who I am” As He is, and every which way you turn Jesus you see perfection, every which way you turn Jesus you see brilliance every which way you turn Jesus you see, you see glory. As He is, so are we in this world.

Of course thank you to those of you who here who has helped to support this ministry!.Now gotta get back to work on issue #2!beloved in Grace,Souba

As of yesterday the 20th of January Jackket's final page was completed. *does happy dance*
I am so thankful and excited to have finally finished Jackket! It's been a three year labor of love and sometimes hate, lol.
Once God told me 2006 to finish Jackket I took up the job not knowing how to put an American comic together, but by his grace God has provide the people and the skills I've needed to finish it. It hasn't been easy and there have been so many times where I said to God that I couldn't do it and that he had picked the wrong person, but I continued because He wanted me to do this. So after completing page 16 I can now officially get started on issue two, lol! :-P
I'll keep you guys updated on the final details for ordering the issue and I pray that as you sit at home and read the finished product, that you will be touched and blessed as much as I have been. Beloved in Grace, Souba Read more…
Hey all, I've been busy getting ready for my first year at the University also wrapping up Jackket so it's been hard to update my blogs. :-( Well now that I'm doing it, I just wanted to give you some word on where I am exactly on the comic book. I'm looking at a publishing of the book within the next few months so we're talking pretty soon. I have only a few pages to go and I'm also planning on adding some extras and cool stuff. For example, Jackket with now have a brand new cover which I'm still debating on revealing now, and it will have a flip cover with a manga section which will be really neat. My first Japanese translation well with the help of Aka Chan will also be featured in it, but sorry there will be no English translation cause that version will be available through Megazeen #14 I believe. I decided to go that route so that it can featured in it without me also having the same version in my comic. Um.. let's see what else.. the story has and is changing, it really surprises me where God is going and I'm really not as sure what will happen as the series continues, but I'm sure that it will impact people deeply with its message of healing. Anyway, I think I'm feeling excited about the second part which has already been started. I had originally started with the first sequence of drawings before I started over again. I don't think many of you remember that well except for Steve. ;-D I'm happy to finally be able to show you more about Jackket and Tomàs in part 2 and introduce the villain, Muh hah ha! I won't say more than that, cause part 1 still needs to make it's debut before I tell more of teh story! So there you have it the progress of Jackket and it's near completion! I'll be sure to bring back piccies for everyone. :-D Beloved in Grace, Souba Read more…
This morning I decided to watch Mel's Gibson's movie The Passion of the Christ, I think because I wanted to be reminded of what Christ did for me, for us. Needless to say I spent most of the movie just sobbing, because I knew everything he endured was because of my sins, and my illness. The only words I could manage to even think was "You are everything." I didn't know why that continued to come into my mind I just couldn't finish the sentence, but it poured out from my spirit.
It seems hopeless to ever be able to say thank you enough to Christ for what he did in that one amazing act of love, and impossible to truly understand the grace of God. So I wonder why I feel condemned when Christ came so we wouldn't be condemned?
My pastor said something that touched my heart: "Jesus who knew no sin, became sin, so that us who know no righteousness can be righteous!"
Everything he is I was not, everything I was he became. Every failing I have I want to surrender them to God, I want to focus on Christ and glorify him everyday in my life. I don't want to do good works having an ulterior motive of looking good in front of God I want to do good works because it's a side effect of truly knowing God. To know and say Jesus you are everything, everything... Beloved in grace, Souba Read more…

Hi all, Today, I saw this amazing message from Pastor Joseph Prince, and I was really inspired and encouraged. In his sermon he asks this question, "Are you a sheep?" What he means if we are willing to let God lead us, and not try to do things ourselves. He also shows us through Jesus' words how important we are to God, and how much he cares about us as individuals.
In the past few weeks, maybe months God has been telling me to continually trust Him to direct me. Some days I do, and some days I try to figure out things on my own(those are the bad days). I also tell God "well if you want me to do this then let me know," and God responded I think for the first time in my life "Well if you want to do it let me know," lol!
God is awesome, He really does want to gives us our hearts desires especially if He knows our heart is focused on Him. So after asking once again for a definite Word from God, He gave me this verse and I want to share it with you "in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Psalms 56:11 So what I want to say is.. I'm tired of worrying, I'm tired of being afraid, God I just want to be Your little sheep! God grant you favor, Souba
Hi everyone,I want to thank you for the support and interest you have shown in Velvet Nightmare Studios. As you decided to be part of this page you should know some things about this ministry.
This page is to promote a graphic novel coming out soon. Five years ago I began drawing when God lead me to christianscomics.net where I found a lot of brothers and sisters in Christ that wanted to use comic books as a tool for ministry. They encouraged me as I began to learn about both mangas, and American comics. Three years ago God gave me this incredible story, and told me to see it to it's completion.
The story of Jackket Knightmare begins with a Hispanic character named,Tomàs who was physically abused as a child by his father. Later in the story God delivers him from the deadly situation through a Pastor named David Church. While the story is about Tomàs struggle with his adopted father's sudden death it is about his journey to forgive his father and pursue his call to be Pastor.
Now this is a comic book so to make the story more interesting, as Tomàs begins to piece together what happened one night to him as child he starts going through a physical transformation at night. He changes into Jackket Knightmare though he is unaware of it, but this is strictly a God given ability(I got tired of satan giving heroes their powers in secular comics). Jackket is a character that rescues children from abusive situations, but he doesn't stop there he also through another ability makes the abuser see himself as a child and gives him a chance to stop the cycle and change his life through Christ. There is also a demonic character that he encounters as he ministers to these people. The real message of the story it about broken people being made whole through Christ, and that is my hope for those who will one day pick up a copy and read it or visit the site.
My prayer is that I will continue to gain support from my brother's and sisters in Christ, and that I have direction from God as I finish the first chapter of this project. God Bless, Souba
