Announcements!

We have some exciting news! CCAS has moved to a new and improved version of our platform. Not only is it more powerful and better organized, it is completely responsive (looks great on all devices).

The only issue we are experiencing with this move:

  • Hey Brother Paul,

Sorry for not seeing your note sooner. Thank you very much for keeping me in your prayers. I hope our Lord Jesus is blessing you mightily and guiding your hand as you labor for Him. Your work is impressive... just keep it up and God is sure to bless your labors.

Am still a little under the weather from July's surgery. Lots of reconstruction was done and God willing, it should all be healed-up in another 6 months.

    Stay well.

    Blessings,
    Jimmy Stewart
  • HI Paul,

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm Scott A. Shuford, one of the new Board members. I wanted to stop in and say thanks for being involved with CCAS! If you have any input or would like to be involved with anything in particular, please let me and Eric Jansen (Membership Coordinator for CCAS) know by contacting us both through the site. We'll be making several announcements in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. To see a bit more about me, check out my profile here on the site. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.

    At Your Service,

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
  • How are you? I'm from the Philippines, living here and loving it.
  • The CCAS plans to have a table in the Small Press at WonderCon 2009. Lord willing, we'll be able to meet.
  • Hi Paul, no problem. I dedicate about a night to do each one. But I work on them while doing a host of other things and I make them up as I go along.

You have a blessed day as well.
  • Good luck on your project Paul!
  • Well, Paul, my father's side of the family was way too active in God's commandment to go forth and pro-create, so I would not be surprised if I had relations I am not aware of.... :p
  • Hey, I finally got a moment to look over your pages to the comic. What'd be really nice is if you could give us the opening sequence or something. It's hard to give suggestions or praise for a comic work w/o it being in an order so we can discuss flow and such. I'm not an artist, so I won't comment on the artwork (so many, much more capable people in this group). Please give us some sort of teaser or something :)
  • Thanks, Paul. Well, I don't speak tagalog very well either. I live way down south of the capital, so we speak a different kind of gibberish. :p I checked out Messiah's chosen and it looks promising. I do hope that it would make a huge impact in a world that needs God's word so badly. Keep the faith and God bless.
  • Thanks for the welcome, hope you all enjoy my work, take a look at my blog if you get the time at http://snowtigers-fanciful-tails.blogspot.com/ hope it blesses you:)
