Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:

Print production, electronic pre-press, photoshop, illustrator, inDesign (by Adobe). Re-purposing print documents into digital documents for web distribution. Website design/organization. I have taught classes in Photoshop, InDesign, Web Programming, Acrobat, Illustrator, Cold Fusion, and while not certified am pretty good at troubleshooting WIndows (ick!) and Mac OS X.

My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

When I was a young, wet-behind the ears police officer in Prince Georges County, MD I was sucked into the "us" vs. "them" mindset and saw the public as pests and not as people needing help. Though of Japanese ancestry, I developed very prejudiced attitudes toward Black, Hispanic, and any other peoples who made more work for me. Thanks to the life changing power of Jesus Christ, I was called into a multi-racial fellowship where the Pastor denounced ANY form of racism and hatred. As Jesus' return draws very near, I repented of neglecting so great a salvation, and am re-dedicated to serving my Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ! I have worked in the past lettering several comics stories and got into coloring with Photoshop (the Cardinal). I wish to resume helping my brothers and sisters in Christ to do the best work we can for God's Glory!

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

Other than creating (Writing, Drawing, Inking, Lettering, Coloring) comics, converting comics to digital versions for distribution over the web. Aside from the technical aspects, collaborating with writing comics would be fun. Inking would be interesting as well. Coloring right now limited to mostly flats, tho am exploring more advanced tonal coloring in Photoshop.
