I really enjoy Chris Ware. While I do enjoy realistic superhero comic work, I like simple cartoony stuff more, for whatever reason.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
I do not recall much about the time preceding my faith in Christ; however, I am not sure what would motivate me in the here and now if it were not for Christ. Secularism and humanism would not have satisfied me, nor would they have challenged me. No other one and no other thing would have made life even bearable, let alone enjoyable.

Btw that e-zine sounds fantastic, I'm desperate for some sort of Christian community where I can at least talk about comics, if not contribute them. I will look into your project and see if I can't contribute in my own small way. Or at least look at other peoples' and tell them they're doin a good job ;0
Hey man, thank you for the compliments and kind words! You're my favorite artist on here, so I can honestly say that it means a lot that you would look through my site. There's nothing at all special with the texture, there was just a phase when I was using a particular Photoshop brush with the Dual Brush setting checked in the Brushes tool window (hope this makes sense - if not I'll show you a screen shot). I got the brush itself from these girls, but after learning more about textured brushes I realize you don't need anything special to do it, you just need to basically use any of the standard brushes, play around with the settings (especially pressure and opacity sensitivity), and do Dual Brush with some sort of splattery or grainy brush. Does this makes sense? For someone with your prowess I'm sure it does
