  • You truly have the greatest heart Gerry! But you'll have to wait until my guys actually make that possible... I just got on their case about it so hopefully it we will see that option soon.

  • hey gerry, great to hear from you. i've been working on this for over ten years it really has now become a graphic novel of about 160 pages and will probably be done by next year. i can still separate it to about 6 or 7 issues if i wanted to. not sure yet. it's about a 16 year old kid from a christian home committing his life to Christ and God calls him to be one of His warriors and dealing with all that comes with living for God. In the course of time he ends up combating the Tempter, Temptress, Death & Destruction, Apollyon, the Fool and a host of others. maybe i will put up a few more pics. take care & God bless. are you working on anything? let me know, love to see it.here is another pic27.jpg49.jpg

  • Thanks for the welcome! I just created some albums with some of my old work, I hope you like...

  • Nice to meet you, Gerard. Major Zombie is a non religious comics, do you think I should take it down from my profile? I have yet to create a Christian-based intellectual property but looking forward to come up with one. God bless.

  • Hi. I too have a handicap thats mental. I thought I was Manic Depressive but now the doctors at the clinic are treating me for Schizophrenia. I've gone through a divorce the death of both my father and step father and my own brother. I am an entrepreneur trying to make a business out of sellling different kinds of comic strips to party people and comic lovers. I really would like to talk more about this but I'm afraid I really won't have the space here to get all it out. You can e-mail me at toons4u@msn.com and we can take it up then. Thanx.
  • Thanks Gerry for all your positive input. You certainly lift my spirits. The next thing I need to do is start using my Blog feature, too. Did you see I included you in my list of favorite comic creators. Looking forward to that next "Sons of Thunder", don't forget to reserve me a copy!

    God's VERY best, as always!

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
  • Hey Im glad you won. I hope you enjoy the issue when you get it. It's our promo. Iam currently working on issue one. I am almost done with the pencils/inking on issue one. I have 15 pages to go and that portion os done. Thus, my colorist will take over. I hope to begin issue #2 in Jan. and then past those page to my other colorist, while my other colorist is finishing up issue 1. We havent posted much on our main website because we are trying to get everything together....business/art wise. We hope to make a big bam next year. So one we get things going you'll begin to see alot more on there. By the way lest keep in touch.... my e mail is eric_ryan31@yahoo.com I really hope to hear from you. • Gerard,

I'm not exactly Mr Outgoing Personality. I had to remind myself as I was behind the table to smile and say hi to the people as they came by. Some stopped and took a quick glance and moved on, some didn't stop at all. Some were quite interested and wanted to talk. Christian Comics should sell themselves. Only very rarely at the Tucson Con did someone ask my opinion on the material on the table for the purpose of buying it. It really was a good positive experience. It does tend to attract any Christians that are floating thru the Con Hall.
If you are interested get in touch with Ralph Miley he'd be happy to send you material to stock a table. It would be cool to have a Christian presence at a Hawaiian Comic Con.

    God bless,

    Don
  • Hey Gerand! Just want to let you know A Table for One is up at http://atableforone.wordpress.com and the link to the comic is there.
