  • Alec Stevens as I live and breathe! Still drawing ( a little). Good to hear from you. Hope all is well with you and thanks for the add!
  • Hi Alec,
I'll have a look in on your website some time today. Interestingly enough the Eagle was produced to counter the influx of American comics in he late 1940s!! Hampson had an amazing studio system where they had several artists and made models and costumes. Dan Dare was named after the a children's Christian song "Dare to be a Daniel". Anyway you probably knew all that.

    Regards,

    Steve
  • Hello Alec I met you at the Comix35 training sessions in Claymont Deleware with Nate Butler.
I appreciate all of the training. I have been working hard on my Frogboy comic .
I have enjoyed your Sadhu Sundar Singh work.
  • Yes, I had a complete set of blue pointy finger nails. They're yellow right now.
And no prob! Thanks for putting out quality books!
  • It is quite interesting to watch people with no interest in Jesus respond to your E.J. Pace collection in the various comic forums. Apparently, Christian based comics with yellowed pages get more respect than new ones.
  • Hey Alec,
How do you know this isn't aimed at the devil? :P
Anyway, ever heard of Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children?

That's who this pic is supposed to look like.
    God Bless,

  • Keeping very busy, too. Day job as a package copywriter for a less-than-inconspicuous toy company continues, as does some behind-the-scenes work for Archie. Best yet, though, I'm editing a series with a Christian worldview which is set to ship in the Spring - I'll be announcing details soon; I'm co-writing another that also has a Christian worldview which my colleagues and I hope to pitch to publishers soon. When that's further along, I'll reveal more details. So the Lord gives me enough to keep me out of trouble (not that that always stops my fallen self). ;)
  • Hi Alec, yes I remember that NY comic con panel well! Figured I'd say "hello" and add you to the friends list. Hope you are well.

  • Thank you for the kind and encouraging words. I just feel honored to be used by Him in whatever capacity He chooses. I have been privileged to meet and correspond with some wonderful brothers and sisters in the Lord. May the Lord be glorified in our efforts to honor Him with the talents He has given to us.
  • Thanks Alec, yep blushing even now.
