  • Thank you for greeting me. I am glad to be here.

  • thank you so much Brien, greeting from Indonesia.

  • Thanks
  • Brien, Thank you so much for your kind reviews on Lulu.com. You've been such a great friend to me here & your advise has helped make my stories better. I always look forward seeing your work & try not to miss anything you post because it's always so excellent. Take care & God bless, my friend.

  • I agree your comment on anthropomorfic animals! Yeah, the Barkleys were also a tiny part in my childhood. I remind that cartoon show in Brazilian tv circa 1978. God bless you!

  • Thanks for the comment in my "Batfink versus Underdog" drawing! By the way, some of your drawings reminds me a 1970s TV cartoon I loved to watch in my childhood: "The Barkleys", about  a anthropomorfic dog family, the father was a bus driver. Best regards!

  • Thanks so much!

  • Thanks, Brien. I will have to check out those links.

  • Yes!
I started Captain Orange because I wanted to read comics with my daughter, but all the modern "adult" comics are a little too vulgar and the kid comics I've seen encourage bad behavior and annoying catchphrases (I'm sure it's not their intention).

You're spot on about the Buck Roger's influence. I love retro-scifi and am trying to incorporate as much as I can into the comic.

  • I never turn down coffee! It was a road-trip kind of vacation so we only stayed for about 3 days, all of which my 6 year old insisted spending at the Aquarium.

I was actually born at Fort Ord (I hear the hospital has been converted to a Dept. of Defense building or something!) and lived in Marina for a while during part of Middle and High School. I remember walking home from the bus stop and enjoying the rain and fog. There's something so serene about it.
