My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

Was rasied around the baptist church but was not a believer. Became agnostic in teens and early 20's. The Lord graciously saved me in my mid 20's. Opened my eyes to his reality. -Shortly after graduating from art school ,jobless and about to become apartmentless I asked another former art student if I could bum at his place until I could make it home. -This guy was a christian,- lots of good conversations, 1 night he asked "why are u fighting so hard", i was caught off guard, I explained that i wasn't "fighting" just debating the concepts, I was personally neutral to the Ideas and to Jesus. His response was "there is no neutral, Jesus said 'your either for me or against me'".(paraphrased matt 12:30) I was inwardly pushed into darkness. I changed the subject, and went to bed thoroughly and uncomfortable knowing that I was "against" God and Jesus...if there was one. A few weeks later i ended up in church with him and the minister spoke on subjects that had been a block for me and God cleared them away and in an amazing way blew my mind and Spirit with his reality. Nothing else really makes sense now even when it gets dark.
