This one I did for a commission but the client didn't want it because it had a black mark on the batman light. Man his loss because after I finished it and he told me he didn't want it I was like..."HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!! Now it's mine all mine!!!" lol I know I suck.

  • Sorry for the late reply, thank you for the complement.  Yeah that's exactly what I wanted him to look like. jumping from a distance and getting ready to land. I would let the colorist do the shading on the cape. Coloring is a hassle for me, so I steer away from it, if I color it's very simple.  Like the Invinsible comics from image.  But I would want something more intricate for this. Your work is good too I like the pages they are very dark.... would make a really good eerie graphic novel with all the shading you do.  I'm a look up the Bill Sienkeiwicz right now.

  • Nice, Christopher!  This piece has one of the most imaginative depictions of the Gotham city-scape.  Outstanding!  Almost as striking as a Gotham city-scape done by Bill Sienkiewicz that I once saw.  I like those blinds.  One thing though, maybe you should add some shading or graytone to the inside of Batman's cape (just to distinguish it from the sky background more).  Batman's pose looks good: coming in for a landing, looks like.
