  • You asked what manga studio is... manga studio is one of two pieces of software for creating, drawing, and printing comic books out of Japan. The other software is 'deleter comicworks'. It's kind of like a Photoshop designed specifically for comic creation. It, like deleter comicworks has been black and white for the major of it's life, as that is what commercial comics out of Japan are. When Manga Studio upgraded from 3 to 4 recently, they made it color so covers in print could be done soley inside Manga Studio without resorting to Photoshop. In the US, it seemed to become an overnight software fashion because comics books are often printed in color. All this to say... if you're bored, you should really download the 30 day demo to learn about it for yourself. There's also a good bit of youtube on it.
  • lol @ offense at myspaced... chats up... you popping in?
  • Holy smokies... I'm telling you... that blue i used may have been identical to your blue which I had never seen. The dulled red was on the right track too. The wood like flooring.. absolutely similar to what I was thinking.
  • Ponders... you totally myspaced this page, lol. It looks nice. I received your emails and replied with emails. Took about 3 paragraphs and turned them into 2 sentences. In addition, I presented an simple 3 section layout that is easy to read. Ideally, it'll be agreeable. Tell me what you think when you have time. Also, I sent an email of a clockwork art web reference since you like steampunk.
  • OH!!! ahaha; been here all this time and I had no idea there was a chatroom!
  • Huh? what chat room??
  • I'm going on the LaSea tour to Israel.(I think)

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
  • Hi Shannon, welcome. We're not that far from each other; I live just outside of Philly and have to be in Jersey Saturday. I'm curious to see some of your work; you'll find lots of encouragement here.
