  • Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

The Word for WORD Bible Comic-100+pg Graphic Novel (Judges)
Hard hitting, unabridged graphic novel of the Book of Judges that is historically accurate with high view of scripture. For ages 15+
  • HI Sam - the article is up on the CCAS site as a featured item. Give it another set of eyes and see if I missed anything in the formatting. :) Great job.
  • Hey Samuel thanks for your comments. Yea, in the next volumes you learn more about Minloko and Sau and what makes them tick. Volume 2 also opens up one of the major plots to the series.
If time and popularity permits, i may have to do another series just to play around with other stories about the characters. Allegories ends at 5 volumes and even my webcomic won't go into the possiblities I could do with the "world" I made. But it's fun to see where it'll all go.
  • Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you, my plate is overflowing at the moment. 'The Last Disciple' is a conspiracy/action/superhero story set within the church. The basic story line is:
The Illuminati is a group of men from around the world that are
in some way, directly or indirectly in control of every church based
on Christianity in the world. The leaders of the church are the men
with no face. The men behind the curtain that are always there,
and always watching, but never seen. A council of men. All
D.O.G.’s that have climbed their way up a very long and
sometimes dangerous ladder. The leader of the Illuminati
is named the lord All Seer. The lord All Seer is said to have a link
to God, and God’s will for the world is told through him.
The All Seer passes the will down to the Illuminati, the Illuminati
passes it down to the religious leaders of the world, the religious
leaders pass it down to the different denominations, and so on,
and so on. The Lords’ will be done.
The Illuminati chooses orphans that are given up for adoption
at birth to become servants of God. From those many that are
chosen only a few are sent to a special boarding school
that is run by the Illuminati. In this school they
are being watched and tested in all aspects of their lives. Those
that are strong enough to last through this training,
move on to become the ‘Dicsiples of God.’ D.O.G.'s are the
first and foremost protectors of God and the Council. The
Council’s own police force against the evil of this world. Once in
a generation the All Seer is able to choose a disciple to be given
“The Power of God.” No one knows which year, or even the
identity of the disciple that is chosen. No one but the
All Seer. It is then that chosen ones duty to serve Gods’ will.
It is his destiny to protect the world.
…. and so his story begins....
The main theme of the story is that if you have faith in God Anything is possible!
Thanks for the interest! God Bless!
  • well i respected any man whos willing to dress like his own charchator
  • It will likely be both - perfect person is someone who is a Christian working in the secular market because I think that's the desire of most folks, but I'm happy to have anyone. It can be very cool to interview secular folks for this audience. Shoot me the questions. I'll review and get back to ya.
  • HI Sam - exactly right, people in the comics industry. Do you have some experience in writing via a blog or other experience? It doesn't need to be fancy...

I have several people I'd like to have interviewed. I can set you up with an intro email. As for questions, why don't you brainstorm 7-10 questions you'd want to know from an industry person, then I'll add 2 cents onto those.

    :)

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
