I am a Christian and an animator in Texas. I know there is a lot of"crap" being forced down our throats every day. But when I read thefollowing article I felt a "Barabbas" moment over come me.Comedy Central developing Jesus Christ cartoonAs I…
"This is a great thread. In my opinion I do like to view comics on line. But I love to hold and feel and smell a brand new comic in my hands. There is nothing better. I can still smell the ink on my first Fantastic Four. I really hope they do not go…"
"Something else that might be interesting to you. Revellie was founded by Ben Silverman and bought by Shine in England. Shine is owned by Elisabeth Murdoch, daughter of Rupert Murdoch owner of FOX. The four listed, Henrik Basin, Brian Boyle ,…"
"comedy central has had "Jesus" in cartoons for what, like a decade, now on South Park, right? before knowing anything about the cartoon itself, this is what i figure:
if it is un-Christian enough for comedy central, then it is probably not…"

"I have to agree Buzz. If it's based on Truth, then I am all for it. Having a comedic cartoon is no different than a Christian comedian. But, I don't think the network is going for the "let's tell the Truth about Jesus in good humor way" rather than…"
"Thank you for the welcome. I am in the process of producing three books, an animated series, and a booth for a God Rock concert this weekend so I am strapped for time at the moment. But as soon as I can I will post more comments and some art as…"

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic, (Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)
To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
