Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:

I have greatly enjoyed stories about superheroes since I was a boy. I can't get enough of them and I have been writing my own superhero stories since I was in middle school. I earned a Bachelor's degree in English, with my area of concentration in Creative Writing, to further develop my writing skills.

My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I made the decision to receive Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was eight years old with the simple faith of a child. As I grew into a man, my faith grew as well, and I realized that it had been placed on a sure foundation. My faith in Jesus Christ is what defines me. Like everyone, I stumble and fall, but Jesus is always there to help me up again and get back into the fight.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

I would love to write professionally. My dream job would be to start my own comic book company with free reign to tell original, compelling, cutting edge, and godly stories. I also really enjoy writing novels, so becoming a professional novelist with the same amount of freedom would be awesome, too.

Favorite Comic Creators:

Alex Ross, Kurt Busiek, and Mark Waid
