    like wise. you'll be seein more of me but prob only the months where im visiting glendale for the weekend. Im up there every other weekend. pretty much all thats up is school work. I havent been able to get away from it really to make any progress on my drawings, but hopfully ill get a break from homework soon.

    Hi, Ralph, you're one of the fellows (with Don Ensign, Nate Butler, and others) who really got this whole thing rolling in the '90s. PROVERBS & PARABLES was very instrumental, as well as the NEW CREATION newsletter. Thank you so much for your part in this. Your work for the Lord was and is not in vain.

    Ralph, nice of you to write. I, too am busy with my regular 50 hour a week retail job, but still find time to paint. I have had a few commissions in the last couple of months, some classic monster portraits, and a book cover illustration plus work I do for myself. I'm exclusively doing oils now, having given up on comics. I still read a couple now and then, but am focusing on painting. Take care, and God bless you and yours.

    I'll have to track down that textbook then and then throw it away before my daughter learns anymore from it.

    I plan to be in SD in 2008. I've told my wife she'll have to come with me. Although she'd enjoy the media side of it. But I'm slowing dragging her kicking and screaming into comics with books like I Am Legend and The Black Coat. And my daughter is 12. So I'm dealing with the eye-rolling, lots of attitude stage right now. Sigh.

    In answer to your question: Marilyn and I are trying to find a place that's close enough to Downtown L.A. (where her office will be) that she can commute easily (ideally on the subway or Metrolink), but far enough away that we're not living in the ghetto. Thus far we're considering the apartment complex in North Hollywood I once lived in. We're still looking, if you could spare a prayer for us!
