  • I liked the video you posted and your Forever Girls comic.
  • Ty so much Monica for being the first to welcome me here and for the awesome comment friend!:)
  • Ma'am, thank you so much for your advice to get 'Poser'! It is amazing! I love it! I already have two short animations done for 'Raegan and RJ in Space!' that I have posted to the R&RJiS Facebook page and YouTube channel! My next one is going to be even better! My next really big hurdle is to make Raegan and RJ's uniforms 'conforming' so they move, and then I can start really making cool animations; right now the uniforms are just objects, so I can only move R&RJ's hands and heads in the animations. I have watched a guy make conforming clothing on YouTube a couple times, so I know it can be done from scratch, I just have to make it happen. My goal is to have a real trailer by the end of June, and a real adventure by the Fall! Once again, I really can't thank you enough for your advice about 'Poser!'. Go R&RJiS! God Bless.  Rich Collins

  • Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

  • Ma'am, thank you for the reply. I am very excited about poser and doing a trailer for R&RJiS. God bless. Rich Collins

  • Ma'am, I took your advice and bought 'Poser' and am going to try an animated 3D cartoon for R&RJiS. I am trying to do the 3D puppets of Raegan and RJ for the trailer the length of the theme song.  My idea is good - I will have Pastor Chris, Raegan, and RJ kind of huddled in prayer, then Raegan and RJ go to the shuttle bay and fly off in a shuttle, then they save a falling satellite, then they are happy. I am going to do the 3D cartoon option and use Jhenna's characters as the starting point, with her Manga big eye look, which little kids will like.  I am hoping to be done by 1 May 14. I have this crazy idea - I am going to send the trailer to TBN kids programming and they are going to want to do the series.  Who knows!  Dream big!  Thanks for your advice. If you want to do a little R&RJiS animation or artwork like we discussed please let me know. A picture for $50 and then maybe a little 3D animated short as discussed.  'Go Reagan and RJ in Space!'  God Bless.  Rich Collisn

  • Hi Monica, I sort of figured your name had a certain uniqueness to it. I am not an admin here, but the "Report an issue" button at the bottom of the page can get you a response within a day or two.

I notice with some interest that you are the only friend listed on Richard Muirhead's site, and that both Richard and this new Monica both list the same home website.  I really can not fathom a motive for creating a new Monica except that you have a cool name, but you knew that already.

  • Monica, I noticed that a Monica Bruenjes has just joined CCAS(1/22/14) as a member. She lists a homesite edited by a Richard Muirhead, Richard joined CCAS about the same time as you.

    What's the connection??

  • Ms Bruenjes, hello!  Thank you for your reply.  It was very informative.  I have no knowledge of this yet.  I went to the 'poser' site you suggested and found it very good, thank you for the suggestion.  The target audience for R&RJiS is Christian kids 6-12 years old.  It kind of fell out perfectly the way DL and Jhenna came on board with the professional illustrations, courtesy of CCAS!  Jhenna does kind of a Manga style with big eyes for the younger set maybe 6-9, and DL is doing a more realistic style I think for the 9-12 year olds.  I was suggesting Maya because that is what the 3D animation course at the college used, so I figured that was best.  First I want to make any type of animated short with Raegan and RJ on a short adventure that I can post to my story web site for the kids to download and enjoy like the free adventure I have posted now, but instead of a free graphic novel, a free video!!!  It can be either in the Manga style like Jhenna does, or the more realistic style like DL does, or anything at this point.  Then I would like to do a set of 20-30 minute animated videos of each of my R&RJiS adventures.  Then I would like to do a 2 hour movie.  A big dream, but why not, we have a big GOD.  Please let me know if you could help me with the short animated trailer.  I can pay you.  One of the things you may have noticed with the free download adventure 'Mission to the 3 Suns', this is a very different story then any before for Christian kids.  Most stories for that target set try to teach a moral or life lesson through the story.  I am not doing that.  I am not going to have an adventure called 'RJ's big lie' where he tells a lie, then gets caught, then at the end he says boy kids, don't lie! NO!  The kids this is marketed to already know not to lie or steal or whatever.  This is just a fun story with a happy ending.  nothing more, nothing less.  please let me know if you can do a little trailer.  then who knows!!  'Go Raegan and RJ in Space!'  God Bless.  Rich Collins
