  • Ma'am, this is amazing! You did a great job! God Bless. Rich Collins

  • ... you.  I think you'll like it.  :D  I haven't used Toom Boom, but I've used Harmony & I just got Storyboard pro to start using that instead of AE for my animatics.

  • For me, it ends "Toon Boom will work well for..."
  • weird.  I can see the whole post.

  • OK. I see. Your post got cut off by the character limit, btw.
  • Because it wasn't fully animated, more like a motion comic, I actually did the images in photoshop and then worked in after effects for the rest.  I normally wouldn't use photoshop for animating, but because I was really just doing key poses it worked ok.  I think using Toon Boom will work well for you, but animating always takes time no matter what software you use!

  • Yeah, I saw that and went to the second video. I'll play through the whole game. I like adventure games. I asked about the animation time because I just bought Toon Boom Studio 8 and wanted to know what I was in for. What program did you use?
  • Thanks!

  • This is fun, even though I made the "wrong choice" most of the time. Excellent work, Monica!

  • I think it took me about a month to do the 2 minutes.  If you watch the end of the video there are links you can click to take you to the next video, turning the story into something like a "choose your own adventure."  There's a total of 7 videos adding up to about 10 minutes total.  I worked on it part time over the course of 6 months.
