  • Thanks for the comment on my page Marc. John Byrne has done some great works in comics. Hey Marc, where may I purchase your graphic novel, I would like to give some support when I get a chance. I would love for you to collaborate with me as well. I'm forming a Christian Comic Book company as we 'speak'. There is a couple of artist creators on board but we would love to have your talents grace our membership as well. GOD willing our works will be for eventual profits as well. The work schedule wouldn't impede too much on your other schedules. Please contact me at josephregis@yahoo.com and hopefully you may collaborate with us and I can share more information with you. Continue the great work and I look forward to hear from you.

  • Hi Marc, I checked out your website and I loved the Overcomers. I can definitely see the John Byrne influence in your work. I was a Byrne addict too back in the days. I also love his work. Keep up the great work and I hope to hear from you.

  • Marc,

What was the inspiration and concept for the main characters and theme for your story. How much time did you invest in the overall development as well as the final product. Also, did any scriptures lead you in the grounding of the characters unique gifts.

I've developed a character that my first focus was to shoot on film. Of course that require mocho dollars, nonetheless, he's a character that's been developed for over three to five years. My script is in an outline format and the final pages are being worked on as I type.

The character went through various revisions until I reached a point one year when I hit a brick wall. The character didn't seem to function any more on paper. I began to soul search and the Lord lead me to a series of prophetic scriptures that allowed me to shed some dead weight.

When I saw your characters praying I immediately gravitated to my outline and said wow I finally connected with someone who shares in a similiar vision as myself. To God be the Glory.
  • This is great work. I'm proud of how you develped the story and main characters. Hope to work with someone of your caliber in the future

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
  • WOW! WOW again! C&C are hot! I hope to see alot more of this! Chriatian dynamic duo---who would of thunk it!

  • You have got some great work here. I want to pull something like this together for my characters and I hope it will look this good. I like how you have the adventure of a comic but do stop and take a moment for Christ. It is good to see heroes pray and for supporting characters to take a real interest in what the main characters are going through. I think you have something that can really work. Can we buy a book or two if you have them finished?

Keep up the good work. I know I would love to see more.
  • Hey Marc. You've got some great stuff here. Do you write and draw? How long did it take to get the graphic novel done?
