Facebook is my favorite social network. Back in 4th quarter 2008, I decided to use Facebook exclusively as my personal business and social network. It was a conscious decision to use their site for business not just social things. I picked them over the more business oriented networks like Linked In and Plaxo because I wanted the personal side to all my "friends." I want to know if their life revolves around their dog, or what is going on with their family. I want to spend time getting to know my Facebook friends as real friends, not merely people I'm "Linked In" to.
FrontGate Media does social networking, so we will exist in all the social networking worlds, working on Fan Development in each one. However, I personally am only putting time into Facebook as my own personal page. That doesn't include niche networks like CCAS, but in terms of the big global networks, Facebook is where I'm spending my time.
For comics industry people, Facebook offers a ton of groups. Here are just a few:

Go into all the world and make disciples. Go into the Facebook world. Go into the Myspace world. Wherever you are, search out some comics groups and go into them.
Thanks for the 4.1.1 on what Facebook has to offer for "comics" groups. I just got on Facebook 3 weeks ago & I'm still getting the hang of it. It's cool to see some "Comics" spots on there.
