  • Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

  • Hi Kevin, I read your post saying you have an idea for some kind of live action or cartoon story idea. What stage is your creation at? I'm totally an amateur at writing, drawing, and storyboarding, but if you ever want to just bounce ideas off a Christian comic fan, send them to me, I'd be glad to help!

  • Hey man, just curious if you got my email. thx
  • Of those of you that are playtesting...Who didn't receive the packets..i sent them out two weeks ago. I haven't heard anything back from most folks.

here's an ONLINE copy of the Package i sent out...http://www.facomic13.com/Community2.htm maybe that will help..you'd have to print and cut the decks...but if REALLY REALLY REALLY don't want to do that i'll send another set of decks. i spent so much money on sending those packages...that it saddens me to think you didn't get it.
  • Well i have the comic plastered everywhere. the rss is on my page but here's a direct link. http://www.facomic13.com/Comic.htm
right now i'm only publishing the serial in webcomic form each week then packing each saga together in TradePaperBack form. I found that most comic heads like a graphic novel to buy for collecting purposes rather than a stack of skinny serials taking up shelf space.
if demad gets great enough i'll consider print publishing of the serial instead of only TPB.

Lemme know what you're interested in sofar as art...i do have a list for other artists.
  • Yeah i've been like screaming it to the winds but...the i'net doesn't offer much in the way of hilltops to scream off of "hey come draw on this game soes i don't go crazy painting 120 card faces!!!!"
I put it to any professional in this group or any other...it's pretty open.
I'm excited ot see what you think of the game, i've been so itching to find out if anyone other than me and TWO other friends thinks it a fun game..
  • I am new to CCAS, and have been looking around. I love your drawings. Keep up the good work!
  • Funny you should ask lol. Dude, making your own armor? Awesome!! My band (make sure you check us out, I'll send a request from our profile on here) is in preproduction for our second album. Now is a great time to start looking at ideas for the insert. I can send some pics of how I would like myself to look as a comic character and see if you have any ideas. But man, after my comic character gets developed on paper, the next step is for me to wear the suit on stage. I'm thinking to myself you probably think I'm a moron for even suggesting it, but I doubt you'd even be making your own armor unless you were as much of a nerd as I am. Let me know where to send the pics and I will see if I can get some ideas from the other guys if you are still interested. Take it easy man, lates....
  • Love your fascination with armor. I would like to wear armor on stage.
  • Hey Kevin,
I hope you had a great christmass and a great new years eve. I just fiished my poster of my version of the Armor of God. I just posted the top part of the poster for everyone to see(It will take a day or so to see). It will be available to purches at the end of January, beginning Febuary. The sketch that was done is what it's going to look like. Tell me what you think and have a blessed day in the lord.
