First off...my apologies for not getting back to you sooner. A lot's been going on lately.
Thanks so much for your kind and encouraging comments about my work.

"HI Ralph,
Thank you for your kind comments yesterday...they were very encouraging.
Quite "by accident" I found this site and this is the first time I have been involved in something like this.
It's been almost a year now since I have had any…"
Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic, (Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)
To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...
Ken
I hope I'm not being to pushy here but your style of art is exactly what I am looking for in this story.
Heres my email addy: bentlee21@gmail.com
Send me yours and I can send you some of the script and story info you would need.
Thanks I really appreciate this.
Ken
Thank you so much for responding to my request. I'm sorry that you are not presently utilizing your talents in art. But I can understand the fickleness of the business. What I was actually looking for initially would just be someone who could draw a couple of pages that I could then present to a publisher. Then if the publisher wanted to pick it up a page rate would be worked out. Is this something you might consider?
In any case may the Lord bless you in these days.
Hey Ken, I'm new here and was just perusing when I came across some of your pics. Excellent work! You do have a gift that needs to be put in the light. I see you have done work on a graphic novel. Did it burn you out or would you consider doing another? I am presently writing one and am looking for an artist to collaborate. If you want to know more give me a shout out.
Thanks and God bless

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
Welcome to the CCAS. I saw your work on the Dunamis Heroes project and it was excellent. I would encourage you to post some of your work on this site or if you have your showcased on a website, share that info. There are some very gifted brothers and sisters in the Lord here. I pray the Lord of our Savior would open up a door of opportunity to be used by Him, especially with your artistic giftings. God bless.
