Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:
I am a talented networker and public speaker, but still progressing in my passions as a writer, and cartoonist. Ultimately, a lover of Marvel Superheroes, Star Wars, Star Trek, TMNT, and graphic novels and comic books in general who wants to change the world through individuals by calling them up into their God-given identities, and teaching them how to work together in unity as individuals, rather than conformity to Christianese clones.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
My priorities in life are: Freedom, independence, creativity, and fun. Now, how's that's all achieved can come down to deeper things such as wisdom, intelligence, and compassion, but...that's a whole 'nother story. XD
Either way, hey. My legitimate goals: I want to make art to make art. And I mean that metaphorically. Are you confused yet? ;)
We're all masterpieces, breathtaking expressions of the master artist. Judging art is stupid. It stands on it's own, as the expression of the individual. The thing is, it wont all be brought to completion until we're all up in heaven. In the meantime, though...creation reflects it's creator. And we should let the artist continue to create us...as well as allow him to work through us as his vessels to bring His other art pieces to completion.
It's working together in our individuality that creates the reality of unity that changes the world. It's in our differing strengths, weaknesses, and even preferences that we create the body of Christ. We are all different parts from different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences, but beautiful art pieces communicating God's glory. It's when we work together, rather than judge one another to conform to each other, that we become what God has made us to be, and bring the masterpiece to completion.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
Entrepreneur
An organization that creates art to create art. And I mean that metaphorically. Are you confused yet? XD

Hi Hailey, thanks for that advice.I`ll see if I can find that book on amazon or somewhere. And yes I`ll do a search for more cartoonists here who may be able to help me with my Revelation project. If you ever find any please can you let me know? What is a Sequential artists by the way? Also, can you recommend any Manga Bible stories or versions? I have a Chinese Christian friend here , Mac, who has just created a cartoon/graphic (I never know the right word) version of Joshua which I can tell you how to purchase if you are interested. It`s about £8 British money.

Hi Hailey! I have felt for a long time that Christians needed to become more involved in all aspects of the arts from knitting to singing opera and everything in between. They are all talents and a gift from God. My son is the cartoonist but my daughter Tamra and I help him to write his scripts. My daughter Tamra is an excellent story writer in her own right. I am really thankful that God led Ian Wilson to this group.
Welcome to the CCAS. The boundless energy of youth is encouraging. I pray that you make some wonderful connections. If you have any samples of your work, I would encourage you to post them. May the God of our Savior, Jesus Christ, richly bless you and your family as you grow in the knowledge of Him.
Thanks for adding me!
Whoohoo, welcome to CCAS, Hailey! Sounds like you've got some serious drive and family support. Look around the site and make yourself at home; contribute some of your art when you feel comfortable.
