  • Thanks for checking in, all is well, just have a couple of more panels to work out on the page we discussed last week. I haven't been able to work on it as much as I've wanted to this past week with kids activities, work etc., but I should be able to hit it hard over the next few days. What about you, how's your project coming?
  • Thank you for the welcome. I use my company name for graphics such as comics, logos, business cards, flyers, photos, superimposed pictures and similar things.
  • I feel you bruh, you just gave more great suggestions too! This was a good discussion, we definately need to speak more on this and many other topics regarding the comics and Christian comics.

    Holla!
  • Charles, it seems like we are on the same page. Let me elaborate more. In my opinion, guns, violence, sex, etc., all go on in the world and have a place in the Christian comic as long as the consequences are portrayed also....it's all in the Bible but the consequences are there also. You mentioned that you won't show blood, gore, cussing, etc... which speaks to your responsibility as a Christian. For me, I would add "scantily Clad" women to those categories for the same reasons. You said you will use symbols instead of the actual cuss words. I'm trying to find a solution that works this same way for drawing scantily clad women. I need to get my point across as to what type of women these are but in a way that doesn't lead the reader astray. I like some of your ideas on how you might handle this scene. The goal of my project is two fold. We want to attract worldly folks with things that may appeal to them without glorifying those things. My thing is that care needs to be taken when drawing women in the Christian comic because the reader can miss the whole message if their minds wander into impure areas because their eyes are locked in on exaggerated women's body parts.

    Holla!
  • I'm having trouble posting it. Go to http://www.heedthecalling.com and click the blog button. Sorry for the inconvenience. Holla!
