I'm an artist, graphic artist, cartoonist, and a comic artists.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
My Testimony isn't as extravagant as some but I was saved at a young age. My parents were missionaries so I spent the first half of my childhood life on the mission field. We were missionaries to Mexico, Tanzania, and Indonesia. But I have been to 4 out of the 7 continents. It was during college that I really grew in my faith, especially in the area of aplogetics. Peter encourages us to always be prepared with an answer.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
I would like to be a cartoonist, graphic novelist, or animator.

My favorite artists are James Gurney, Norman Rockwell, Alex Ross, Butch Hartman, and Jim Davis.

Officially, I post new cartoons on Fridays (which means I post them Thurs. night).
I would say my site is relatively easy to maintain... but I have some experience in webdesign/webmastering so I'm comparing it to sites I've done in the past. I also have a sort of old-school setup. The site is basically all hand coded HTML, CSS and a little PHP. I do the updates by hand with a text editor and a ftp program. Perhaps not the most common way of running a site these days, but I like it.

I hope they help. I remember a time when comic book illustration wasn't considered 'real' art. I had actually enrolled in a Christian school thinking it offered an art program. I became a Christian there but my ambitions were wrecked by the faculty, who thought I could 'do better'. In light of that, it may be as much finding an audience as professionalism. As always, God Bless you and keep at it.

Hello again. There are some books I would recommend to you to help develop your talent. "How to Draw comics the Marvel Way" by Stan Lee, "Everything you wanted to know about Cartooning but were afraid to ask" and its sequels by Christopher Hart and the works of Byrne Hogarth.
