My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)

I was born and raised in an atheist family. Any attempts at finding God on my part were quickly ridiculed or "logically" invalidated. By the time I grew up I was thoroughly indoctrinated into atheistic beliefs. So it was surprising to find that during a near death experience I didn't simply snuff out like a candle. I left earth and viewed it from a distant point in space. That's when Jesus tapped me on the shoulder (I was in a weightless spiritual body, so was He) and He told me "If you leave now, you'll never go back. Are you sure you want to do that?" I said "Wait, there are things I have to do there!" I immediately snapped back into my earthly body and could breathe, whereas I couldn't breathe before. The image I saw of Jesus has been seared into my mind ever since. It was a turning point in my life because before, I rarely thought about God but afterward I sought out everything I could learn about religion and God. But I didn't get it, didn't become Christian until recently, when I picked up a hitchhiker who had a sign that said "Trust Jesus". He stayed at my house for about 3 weeks and through him things became much more clear to me. This is where I learned about confessing my sins and finding redemption and true friendship in Jesus.

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)

I would make comic books that would tell the truth about what I've come to know and experience of God and our Lord Jesus.
