I've been away for a while, moving from NC to VA (along with twins under the age of 1). Now settled and into my routine at home and work. I'm still progressing on ClosetWorld, a faith-based fairy tale that got picked up by Arcana Comics and hopefully will be released later this year or early next. I just added art from it by artist John Amor. I'm also developing a pitch called "A Heart for al Qaeda" that's about Air Force special ops (I'm an Air Force officer in my day job). It's written by me with co-writer Kevin Maurer (he co-wrote last year's nonfiction bestseller "No Easy Day"). All in all, it's going to be a great, busy year.
In honor of Passover and Resurrection Day, First Comics News had asked me to write a “guest editorial." I briefly discuss the importance of comics and it’s use in sharing the Gospel. (But, that bio on me is a bit dated.)

I am scheduled to appear on JCTV’s "Hot Off The Press" television show on Friday, March 29th 8pm(EST)/5pm(PST). In the interview, I discussed my comic, AN ACT OF FAITH, and other comics-related subjects.
"Hot Off The Press" airs on JCTV on Fridays, 8pm(EST)/5pm(PST). Episodes re-air the following Mondays 3am(EST)/12am(PST) and Wednesdays at 8pm(EST)/5pm(PST).

Hey folks, I remember when the social media exploded after myspace, and when facebook was introduced... I was thrilled with the idea of connecting with old friends and families. I had many people over the years ask where I was, including a young lady who hasn't seen me since kindergarten back in good ol' Long Island, NY. But now, it's like people are posting way too much of their private lives up making it public,and now being subject to both cyber bullying, and even just the most stupidest things.
So, in the end here's what I think about facebook. It has by no way made us any social than how we used to be in this human race, but has "connected" us in ways that we couldn't before. But ultimately, social media has become a destructive and degrading "network" focusing on removing the word private from our lives, and instead has destroyed relationships, marriages, ruined businesses and people's reputations, as well as becoming a determining factor to who gets A JOB or GETS INTO that college students always wanted to get into. Life never used to this chaotic until myspace came along. If you feel the same way I have in the past couple of weeks about social media - myspace, facebook, twitter, etc. Why not rally against it and bring back the old method of communication such as calling someone, or writing a heartfelt letter and deliver it snail mail, or just a plain ol' email.
This is just a PSA against facebook, etc. to show others that the only face I adore the most is Jesus, and that his book has changed my life.

Hey folks, it seems that since I entered this network of Christian Comic Artists, I have been getting an abundant amount of requests to do something for someone. The answer to your requests, is yes... but one person at a time. Because I am a part time busser at a secular sports bar, and part time college student pursuing graphic design. I may not be able to get to everyone at the same time, but I have been hit with two failing grades lately this semester. So I will be needing to hustle on it if I want to pass this hard class called... Anthropology. Yes, the class that talks about natural selection, evolution... my faith has been hit hard, and I have been questioning does God even exist during this semester, but he somehow keeps on bringing me back to him through the Christian Club on my local campus. So, please pray for me as my faith is continuing to get hit and tested big time this year. Thanks a bunch everyone, love you all.
This a return email that I received from a (to be politically correct) suspected, alleged, person -of-interest con-artist who first contacted me through CCAS. The first email asked me to contact (allegedly) her. I thought it was related to that I'm interested in such as seeking an illustrator. Below is the return email:

Hello this is John Klobuchar. Me and a good friend of mine are making a comic book known as Star Legion. We were in the middle of the art stage, but a current event made us loose a leg (And that would be me). So now she is having to do the art work all by herself, and I wanted someone to help her out since I don't think it is good for her to do it herself.
