Yeah, I can definitely see the Spectre's influence in the mask and long robe. And you're right--life is definitely not always nice and easy. My character, influenced by Ezekiel 33:1-11, feels that it's his responsibility with the powers he has to be on the watch against evil and pain and to do something about them.
Thanks Samuel. As we know, life is not always nice and easy. I wanted my character to reflect that - he deals with the dark corners. I picture him as a combination of Dr. Strange, Deadman, Dr. Fate and the Spectre.
Nice sketch. Your character has the look of a dark and determined hero, which I like. It looks like you and I have had similar ideas for characters--I've also written and drawn a Christian superhero called the Watchman, based on God's words in Ezekiel. I like your idea.
