going back to 1987 (wow I was 13ish). this is one of the characters from Ravanus-Iron Blade. A sword and sorcery Bards tale type comic. I was fun and I spent many a late nigh up drawing and listening to the radio creating it. I miss those days...

  • 3! Three! T-H-R-E-E! sheesh! I am getting old. Next thing you will say is "Who is this Luke Skywalker dude"  He looks like a cheap rip off of Anakin Skywalker...

  • I'm going to make you all feel old and say I was 3 at the time haha...kind of strange...3,13, and 23. Anyway it's cool to look back at old work! And Gerry I'd always be down to toss some LOTR type ideas around. Love me some fantasy.
  • does sound fun. Lets finish this first project. The idea that has been given to me allows for such a project to actually tie into the combined universe.

  • 1987, wow I was 23 already back then:) Totally an Olivia Newton-John fan back then. I didn't start listening to Christian music and radio until years and years later when an all night security guard job trapped me in a pick up truck with an AM radio...that was a great time of learning for me though, and I'm glad of it, in spite of all the junk that went on at that job, ha ha:) We should one day do a purely Lord of the Rings style 'sword and the spirit' kind of 'King Arthur meets the Lord of the Rings' story. A grand crusade into the dark lands of the fiends, banners flying, angels overhead, swords and prayers against claws and sorcery....fun!

  • as for programs, it was the old Dr. Ruth show. It was funny to a teen because the stuff she would talk about was Taboo at the time. (remember I was a 13 year old teen age boy staying up late at night...and did pretty much what every I wanted)

  • lots of stuff. from AC/DC to The Fat Boys to Boston to the Pat Metheny Group. I didn't like Gospel then. Because it was all Mehalia Jackson / Shirley Caeser spirituals and Choir Hymns. I am glad Christian music has come further now. Now I listen to Jazz Fusion and some Contemporary Gospel.

  • Nice! I love sword and sor....ehr...uhm....Sword and the Spirit comics (Lol) What did you used to listen to on the radio? What kind of music or programs?
