Joel Jameson, aka Super-Christian of The Extraordinary League of Christianity... he is also the leader of the league.

Powers: fly; super strength; super speed; he can basically do just about anything, but only through the power of Christ and faith (as Phil. 4:13 is his verse). :)
Joel is currently a youth pastor of a church known as The Tintown Church of Christians (I chose to do without denominations). Joel appears to look earthling, but he was born on a planet known as Bibleon (bible - on). His biological parents, Joseph and Eva, were leaders of the planet and fought against the evil that tried to destroy it. When Joel was only about 3, Satan and his demons finally had a grip on destroying the planet, so Joseph and Eva sent Joel out into space with a rocket for safety. Then when Joel was out of range, the planet exploded, as well as all the Bibleonians. Joel was scared, but knew God would lead him where he is needed, even at that early age. :) Eventually, Joel landed on Earth and was found by a poor couple named Eugene and Mary Jameson. They knew it was odd to find a baby from a rocket, but they raised him as one of their own anyway. Besides, he was an answer from God, as they could not have any children of their own. Growing up, Joel was never ashamed of the gospel and always tried to witness to his fellow classmates where ever he went. After he became an adult man, he felt called to be a youth pastor. So he became the youth pastor of his church, The Tintown Church of Christians. Soon, Euegene and Mary passed away. They had raised Joel good, in the Lord. Joel was happy with his job, but for some reason he didn't feel this was all he was called to do. He soon came to realize that Senson City (just next door to Tintown) was dark and in need of Christ. So Joel set out to witness on the streets every evening. Later on, he saw a young lady visit his church named Mary Regolski. He decided to say hi, and the two became fast friends. The two went out to Bob's Burger Bar to further discuss bible and other plans. It is there they met a man named Cory Dawson. Joel noticed he prayed for his food, and they sparked an interest in Joel. They soon realized they all 3 had some extraordinary power. Joel knew the city of Senson was in need of heroes, so Joel founded The Extraordinary League of Christianity and vowed to fight not only crime, but the dark forces of Satan, and to be a witness and lead as many people as they can to the ultimate hero, Jesus Christ.
